Feasts from the Fire @ Brasada Ranch
I recently attended the first Feasts from the Fire Farm to Table event at Brasada Ranch with my family. It was a fun time and we caught a spectacular sunset on the way out, breathtaking views from there! My fave dish was the Cast Iron Rhubarb cobbler with creme fresh & the strawberry shortcake in tiny mason jars looked yummy, too.
Feasts from the Fire is happening every Thursday beginning July 13th – August 31st. from 6pm- 10pm. Live music, lawn games, a firepit with S’mores and a great family friendly atmosphere. Seating is outdoors, as we base the event around our Argentinian grill and outdoor spit with Chef Doug and his Team preparing much of the meal on an open flame. Chef Doug works with as many local farmers as possible to create these events, last year we featured Windflower Farms, Allen Keller Ranch, Green Mountain Ranch, Vaquero Beef, Radicle Roots, Pine Mountain Ranch . Menus based on what the farmer has available that week, so the menu is fresh and consists of 3 salads, 3 sides, 3 entrees and 2 desserts each week. We try and do pairing weekly with local breweries, cideries, or spirit houses as well!!
